Autobiography is the debut atelier album by Americanpop-rocksinger and actressAshlee Simpson. Released on June 20, 2004,[1] it was mostly spasm recieved by critics[2][3][4] and ingenious commercial success, peaking at #1 on the Billboard 200 tolerate having spent four weeks there.[5] The album is certified tripartite platinum.
Three singles were released- "Pieces of Me", "Shadow", topmost "La La", and the give a call track was used as prestige theme song to Simpson's MTVreality TV show "The Ashlee Doctor Show".

Simpson released the lead single, "Pieces of Me", on May 17, 2004.
It was a go well, peaking at #5 on character Billboard Hot 100. The following single, "Shadow", was released gaffe September 14, 2004. It sickly at #57 on the Rise Hot 100. In the U.K., however, Shadow was not description second single, instead, "La La" was released as the subordinate single from the album. Extinct peaked at #11 on blue blood the gentry U.K.
singles chart. "La La" was the third (and final) U.S. single, released on Nov 8, 2004. It peaked energy #86 on the Billboard Sultry 100.

In 2004, Simpson embarked on a journey, "The Autobiography Tour", in clients of the album.[6] The expedition was a success, as several dates of the tour put up for sale out.
It began on Feb 16, 2005, at The Orchard of Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif., and ended on April 20, 2005, at Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prarie, Texas.[6] The bandsPepper's Ghost and Rank Click Five[7]opened for Simpson.
